Our Vacancy

At Peabody, we’re proud of the role we play in helping people have safe, secure and well‑maintained homes. We’re now looking for a Stock Condition Coordinator to join our team and help us deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused stock condition surveying service across our homes.

This is a varied and important role within a large, diverse organisation, where your ability to organise, communicate and build positive relationships will help ensure our services run smoothly and our customers feel supported.

About the Role

As a Stock Condition Coordinator, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers, surveyors and internal teams. You’ll work collaboratively to coordinate survey activity, manage enquiries and ensure accurate information is captured and maintained.

You’ll help make best use of surveyor resources through effective diary management and performance monitoring, while ensuring our systems, records and processes support excellent service delivery. Above all, you’ll help ensure our customers receive timely, clear and professional communication at every stage.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and schedule stock condition survey appointments, working with customers and surveyors to secure access
  • Act as a first point of contact for queries, referrals and service requests, resolving issues proactively and professionally
  • Support effective diary management to ensure surveying teams are fully utilised and KPIs are achieved
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records and data across systems, supporting compliance and performance reporting
  • Investigate and respond to enquiries and complaints in line with agreed timescales and policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Peabody to ensure a seamless, joined‑up service
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including arranging meetings and training sessions, maintaining filing systems and producing reports when required
  • Ensure policies, procedures and health and safety requirements are followed consistently

What you’ll need

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly, customer‑focused approach
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service and working respectfully with diverse communities
  • The ability to work independently, using sound judgement and initiative
  • Confidence working under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities

This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, values‑driven organisation where your work makes a real difference to people’s homes and lives.

Why join us?

When you join Peabody, you’re joining a team guided by our values, Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises, and Pull Together

You’ll be part of a supportive team, doing meaningful work that makes a real difference to people’s lives, with opportunities to learn, improve and contribute to better ways of working.

Here’s what you’ll get when you join us:

  • Flexible and hybrid working
  • 30 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Up to 10% pension contribution, matched 1:1
  • Two additional paid volunteering days each year
  • Flexible benefits scheme, including options for healthcare, dental care, and more
