Our Vacancy

You’re a strategic thinker who thrives on clarity, structure and the opportunity to create lasting impact. You understand that every home has a lifecycle – from development to end-of-life – and you're passionate about embedding consistent, compliant, and future-proof procedures that support quality, safety, and value for our residents. If you're ready to lead a team shaping how Peabody manages its homes, we want to hear from you.

As our Head of Asset Lifecycle Procedures, you’ll lead the development and continuous management of a single, robust set of procedures that guide how we invest in, manage and improve our homes throughout their lifecycle. You'll chair the Procedure Governance Group, aligning teams across Development, Property Services, Building Safety, Compliance and more – ensuring every action is mapped, compliant, and driven by the latest legislation.

You’ll also play a key role in visualising these procedures, integrating with IT systems, and embedding the “Golden Thread” of information for high-rise and complex buildings. With a focus on operational excellence, data stewardship, and strong collaboration, you’ll help bring our "Better Homes and Places" strategy to life.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience of leading and managing teams.
  • Experience in both operational delivery and development environments.
  • Confidence in policy and procedural writing and implementation related to development and/or asset management.
  • A strong grasp of housing, asset management and financial systems.
  • Experience in designing and implementing IT systems that support project and procedure management.
  • The ability to gather, analyse and interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of a business.
  • The ability to simplify and present complex information in a clear and engaging way.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including coaching and mentoring to support a high-performing, inclusive team.

You’ll report to the Director of Programme and Partnerships and lead a small team, working closely with senior internal stakeholders across the organisation including Development, Asset Compliance, IT, Sales, and Building Safety.

Here are just a few of the benefits of working at Peabody:

  • 30 days’ annual holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Two additional paid volunteering days each year
  • Flexible benefits scheme, including family-friendly benefits and access to a discount portal
  • 4 x salary life assurance
  • Up to 10% pension contribution
