Our Vacancy

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Planning Support Officer to join our responsive repairs team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Peabody Group Maintenance (PGM) planning and operations teams, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of repairs and excellent customer service. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to coordinate appointments, manage schedules, and support operational efficiency.

This is a fast-paced and evolving environment, and flexibility will be key to your success. You’ll be expected to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

You will carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the operations team of the in-house DLO (Direct Labour Organisation). This includes liaising with operatives and supervisors to arrange appointments for training and toolbox talks, managing diaries, and assisting the complaints department in reaching resolutions. 

You’ll monitor supplier updates on materials, respond to routine enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, and ensure customers are kept informed throughout their repair journey. You’ll also analyse customer satisfaction data, support operational management, and contribute to maintaining key performance indicators.

Please note this role will require you are in our Pitsea office 4 days per week, 1 day working remotely

You have:

  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Experience in scheduling and customer-facing roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
