Contracts Manager
Vacancy Reference peabodygroup/TP/1199/250
Our Vacancy
Your typical day could start with reviewing contractor progress on photovoltaic installations across our housing stock, followed by a meeting with internal stakeholders to agree on EV charging tariffs and funding opportunities. Later, you might be analysing performance data to ensure programmes are on track and delivering value for money, before heading out to visit a site where new EV charging points are being installed to ensure safety and compliance.
As a Contracts Manager (Photovoltaics and Electric Vehicle Charging), you’ll be at the forefront of Peabody’s commitment to sustainability and safety. You’ll lead the delivery of electrical and building safety works across our homes and communities, with a particular focus on PV systems and EV charging infrastructure. You’ll manage contractors, oversee planned works, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our services are safe, compliant, and customer focused. You’ll also play a key role in securing funding, managing budgets, and ensuring programmes are delivered on time and to a high standard.
You’re a strategic thinker who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving. You’ll enjoy working across teams and building strong relationships to drive innovation and continuous improvement. You’ll need to be on-site regularly to oversee installations and inspections, with flexibility to work remotely when appropriate. Your role will cover all aspects of contract and programme management, from procurement and compliance to customer engagement and technical support. If you’re passionate about sustainability, confident in managing complex programmes, and committed to delivering excellent service, we’d love to hear from you.
