SUBJECT Level 3 – Permanent Contract
Location: Westminster Bridge Road. You’ll be required to work in the Westminster Bridge Road office a minimum of 2 days per week/be on duty once every few weeks.
Course Duration: 18-month apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification, your salary will increase to the standard rate for this role, which is currently £39,794 per annum. Please note that this rate may be subject to an increase by the time you complete your apprenticeship.

About the role
We are seeking a Neighbourhood Manager Apprentice to join our Neighbourhoods team in Northwest London, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents with managing their tenancies and responding to low-level Anti-Social Behaviour issues. Working under the guidance of experienced team members and reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll assist in key areas like ensuring properties are safe and compliant, providing support for vulnerable residents, reporting safeguarding concerns and working with regeneration and development team to support transformation initiatives. This role offers structured learning and skill building in developing and maintaining relationships, and delivering high standards in housing management, all while contributing to Peabody’s mission and strategic goals.
With mentorship and hands-on experience, you’ll grow your skill set and explore opportunities for personal and professional development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Actively engage and work with residents in the management of their homes and neighbourhoods
- Carry out welcome visits to new tenants within 6 weeks, under supervision.
- Assisting in generating income through the letting of sub-units.
- Promote resident involvement and feedback, attending Tenant/Resident Association meetings and other resident events
- Assist in preparing evidence and Notices, including attending Court to observe legal action/possession cases.
- Update and maintain systems/records under guidance to ensure information/data is accurate and KPI’s are met
About the Apprenticeship:
This is a Level 3 Housing and Property Management Apprenticeship over 18 months. As part of the programme, you will complete planned training and development activities that are built into your normal working hours. During this time, you will attend workshops, receive one-to-one mentoring, and apply your learning to real-world tasks. Upon completing the apprenticeship, you’ll have a final assessment to demonstrate your skills and readiness for a career in housing management.
Funding Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over.
- Not be in full-time education at the start of the apprenticeship.
- Not already hold qualifications at the same or a higher level in a similar subject.
- Have lived in the UK/EEA for at least 3 years prior to the commencement of your apprenticeship
- Your residency status must remain valid for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.

- Ability to handle data carefully with an understanding of GDPR requirements
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 2 qualifications (5 GCSEs or equivalent)
- Basic DBS check
