Care Support Worker – Help People Live Their Best Lives
We’re on the lookout for kind, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Care Support Workers. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
We currently have multiple full-time roles available, and each one offers the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life—every single day.
At Peabody, we exist to help people flourish. That means providing great homes, delivering excellent services, and creating inclusive communities where everyone can thrive. We’re proud to be a place where colleagues, customers, and residents grow together, and where diversity is celebrated.
What your day might look like:
- Start by creating and implementing personalised support plans that help our customers live independently and confidently.
- Spend time supporting individuals with hobbies, interests, and community activities—bringing energy, creativity, and encouragement.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and health needs, always with kindness and respect.
What makes this role special:
You’ll be helping people live life on their terms. Whether it’s supporting someone to attend a local event, helping with their morning routine, or simply being a friendly face—they’ll rely on you to bring positivity and care into their day.
You’ll be part of a team that values your compassion and celebrates your impact. Once you’ve settled in, you’ll even be able to refer a friend and earn £250 if they are successful at interview!
Could it be you?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work on a rota basis, including some waking nights and sleep-ins.
- Understands that everyone’s needs and preferences are unique—and responds with empathy and flexibility.
- Has experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Pays close attention to detail, especially when maintaining records.
Given the location of this role, we encourage drivers to apply due to limited transport links.
What you’ll get in return:
- 25 days’ annual holiday (plus bank holidays)
- 2 paid volunteering days each year
- Access to a flexible benefits scheme and discount portal
- Life assurance at 4x your salary
- Up to 10% pension contribution
- A workplace that supports your growth and celebrates your contribution
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
Please note: Peabody does not offer sponsorship for this role.
A meaningful opportunity awaits - Interviews will be ongoing until Friday 19th September, so if this sounds like the kind of role where you can thrive and make a difference—we’d love to hear from you.
