Compliance Coordinator (Maternity Cover – 12 Months)

Location: Westminster (with travel to Houghton Regis and Basildon)

Contract: Fixed-term (12 months)

Are you ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment? We’re looking for a confident and proactive Compliance Coordinator to join our Academy team and support our mission to deliver high-quality compliance training across the organisation.

As a key player in our compliance operations, you’ll ensure our colleagues remain qualified and up to date, helping us maintain the highest standards in social housing provision. You’ll be the go-to person for managing learning systems, coordinating training activities, and producing insightful data reports that drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our compliance and training activities, making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll manage our Learning Management System, keeping enrolments and records accurate, while analysing data from different sources to support our compliance reporting. You’ll coordinate meetings and events, produce clear performance reports for stakeholders, and handle the practical details like purchase orders and invoices. You’ll also play a key part in audits, ensuring we meet legal and regulatory requirements, and act as the first point of contact for queries, helping colleagues and partners get the information and support they need.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a learning or compliance environment.
  • Advanced IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in diary and event management.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and locations.
  • Confidence in picking up the phone and speaking with colleagues and external providers.

Our Values Drive Everything We Do

Our values guide everything we do. We’re kind, showing empathy and thoughtfulness in every interaction. We do the right thing, acting with integrity and always in the best interests of our residents. We love new ideas, staying curious and open to better ways of working. We celebrate diversity, valuing different perspectives and creating a real sense of belonging. We keep our promises, doing what we say we will, and we pull together, collaborating and seeking out diverse views, even when the challenges feel big.

Please Read Before Applying

This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role requiring strong administrative, data management, and stakeholder engagement skills. As this is a maternity cover, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.

To be successful, you must:

  • Have proven experience in a similar coordinator or compliance role.
  • Be confident using Learning Management Systems and advanced Excel functions.
  • Be comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities.
  • Be confident picking up the phone and speaking with colleagues and external providers.
  • Be willing to travel between Westminster, Houghton Regis, and Basildon as needed.

If you meet these criteria and are excited by the opportunity to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Here are just a few of the benefits of working at Peabody:

  • 30 days’ annual holiday, plus bank holidays (specific number of days for the role)

  • flexible benefits scheme, including family friendly benefits and access to a discount portal
  • 4 x salary life assurance
  • up to 10% pension contribution
